Terms of Service

By engaging LAXMI Packers and Movers ("LAXMI", "we") for any relocation, packing, transportation, vehicle transport, or warehousing service, you ("the Customer") agree to the following terms.
Bookings
Quotations are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise. Booking is confirmed only after receipt of an advance and issuance of a written confirmation or consignment note.
Inventory & Packing
Customers are encouraged to allow our team to professionally pack all fragile and high-value items. Self-packed items are accepted but typically excluded from damage claims.
Prohibited items
We do not transport hazardous, flammable, illegal, or perishable items. Cash, jewelry, and important documents must be carried by the Customer.
Insurance & Liability
Transit insurance is optional and recommended for long-distance and high-value moves. In the absence of insurance, our liability is limited to terms mentioned in the consignment note.
Delivery timelines
Estimated timelines are practical and weather/route conditions may cause minor variations. We communicate any change proactively.
Payments
Payments are typically split between booking advance and balance on loading or delivery. Applicable GST (18% for full service) is charged on invoices.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be notified at least 48 hours before the scheduled date. Advance refund policies will be shared at the time of booking.
Jurisdiction
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Dibrugarh, Assam.
